Great budget hotel, helpful staff...
Stayed here for two nights nothing to fault, room was spacious and staff always ready to help, Nadia at the front desk who checked me in was a great help throughout my stay! Evening meal was a delight thanks to the head chef who recommended the curry chicken tikka masala, at a very good cost of only £10 I enjoyed it the most the best curry I've had in a long time! Breakfast was a wide variety of buffet. What a great start to my day!Date of stay: April 2019

A night's stay
Following a mother's day visit which didn't work for us were offered a revisit the same as our original booking. Staff were very friendly, going above and beyond, and attention to detail was brilliant. The executive room was lovely and on point, with service continuously being amazing. We weren't sure if there would have been space therefore didn't request a cot. But there was expectational amounts of space so our needs were met. They accommodate our requests and were very professional. Breakfast was of a good standard with lots of options. Highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed with this particular room.Date of stay: April 2019

Absolutely love staying here this place is always my come to in Croydon could not fault a thing. From the check in to the check out The staff are exceptionally friendly, Nadia at reception always a bubbly, happy person. She is a credit to the team I must say. Would stay again.
This is the second time we have stayed as it convenient for us to visit family. This time we stayed New Years Eve and New Years day where we enjoyed quiet nights in our clean, modern room. Good TV channel choices and hot drink making facilities. The buffet breakfast choices are very good; continental, cooked English, cereals, fruits, toast choices and so onAll round great value for money at £168 for a double room for 2 nights over New Year we thought was very good.Date of stay: January 2019

Great one night stay at Grand Sapphire
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean and well stocked with a range of toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Enjoyed an extensive breakfast selection of cooked choices as well as cereals pastries etc. But all -in-all very good value for money.....and of course free parking which was really great at a city hotel. superb stay
I stayed here for a wedding i was attending nearby and i must say I was pleasantly surprised. this hotel has everything that you need from a good standard hotel. quick check in, decent rooms and all facilities that a person requires. the breakfast also did the job and is all you need for good start to the day. Hotel very clean, staff friendly , room large with a speed shower. Can't say anything bad at all. Breakfast everything you need and more it only cost £60 for the night for both of us that included breakfast, free parking and free WiFi. Would come back anytime.Date of stay: July 2018

I would just like to say that on behalf of my husband and I, our stay at the Grand Sapphire resulted in an excellent experience - from the comfort of the room to the breakfast and the room service dining. The staffs' were extremely friendly and accommodating and would go out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed from the moment we booked in right up until our final check out.During our 7 night stay, I would like to give special thanks to a few of the staff, the first one being the hotel receptionist who checked us in. There was a mix-up on the booking dates mainly due to my oversight but despite this and the hotel being fully booked, he worked his magic to find a way to accommodate my husband and I without sending us packing to another hotel.I would definitely recommend the Grand Sapphire with its grand banqueting suites, hotel accommodation, competitive prices, room service and last but not least, great staff!Date of stay: May 2018

I am leaving this review because this hotel honestly has the best customer service!!! Out of all the hotels I have stayed in over the years, this hotel has some of the nicest staff, most helpful and caring. I have now stayed here 3 times, once for my partners birthday and twice since, the room and service is so good continuously. The rooms are always immaculate, nicely decorated with a real comfy feel, good mattress. all the rooms I have stayed in came with a fridge and all the toiletries you may need. Super friendly and smiley staff - exactly what you want to see in the morning. Thank you for continuously giving the great service you do and a great hotel experience every time. Great hotel reasonably good breakfast selection
We have stay at this hotel around 12 times now every three weeks for one night always on a Monday as having treatment at the Royal Marsden hospital early Tuesday. we have always had a nice clean room and the breakfast is a good selection, beds very comfortable and nice thick duvet. Great hotel regular visitor
I regularly stay at the grand sapphire above any other hotel in Croydon. You cannot rival its value for money nor fault its quality to detail. As with any establishment you will always have hiccups but believe me this hotel is the only place to stay in Croydon, it's nicer, better quality and cheaper than any other surrounding hotel and has free parking. No brainer..........Date of stay: March 2017
